In this entry-level role, you will play a crucial part in the production of orthodontic appliances by operating the AOS micro-bender machine, which bends precision wire for retainers.
You will use specialized software to control all bending work, with the option to sit or stand during the process. Key Responsibilities : Operate the AOS micro-bender machine to bend wire for orthodontic appliances, ensuring high precision and quality.
Use a computer and specialized software to control the bending process, making adjustments as needed. Load wire material into the machine, set up bending parameters, and monitor the machine’s performance.
Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation. Inspect finished wire components for accuracy and quality.
Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. Maintain accurate production records and logs. Collaborate with the team to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in using a computer, including experience working with software and a mouse.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Willingness to learn and operate specialized machinery. Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.
Basic understanding of mechanical systems is a plus but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements : Ability to sit or stand during the bending process. Dexterity to handle small components and tools.
Lifting materials up to 25 lbs. Training Provided : Full training on the AOS micro-bender machine, software, and safety protocols will be provided to ensure your success in this role.
