Position Summary

The Department of Gender and Race Studies at The University of Alabama invites applications for a renewable contract assistant professor appointment specializing in Sociology to begin August, 2024.

Candidates are expected to demonstrate expertise in the academic instruction and research of sociological theories of race, gender, class, and sexuality, and will teach four classes a semester, including Sociological Theory.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must have a PhD in Sociology or related discipline by August 2024.
