We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in Madison, Wisconsin. As part of our team, you will be providing hands-on support for our Information Services team, provisioning equipment, staging it, and assisting with deskside items.
Your role will also involve solving service tickets, conducting hardware swaps, and maintaining the overall desktop / device imaging.
Responsibilities :
- Provisioning equipment and staging it for the IS team
- Assisting with deskside items and providing overflow support for service tickets
- Conducting hardware swaps when necessary
- Maintaining overall desktop / device imaging using Microsoft SCCM
- Working with user group modifications and Active Directory
- Providing Level 1 support and escalation, with more technical support when working independently
- Using VPN Technologies and Microsoft Office 365 in day-to-day operations
- Deploying and configuring desktop hardware and software as per company standards
- Handling desktop deployment and managing computer hardware
- Collaborating with the onsite peer to cover their schedule when they are on vacation
