As an Empower Personal Wealth Senior Trainer, you are responsible for driving and implementing training activities required to deliver against and / or exceed business goals and objectives, particularly within the Empower Personal Wealth business.

This role will facilitate ongoing and instructor-led learning programs to prepare sales and service associates, while providing excellent and accurate service to internal customers.

Additionally, the Senior Trainer will assist with gathering and analyzing information to determine learning needs and evaluate training programs, materials, and trainee performance.

What you will do

Facilitates learning solutions, preparing plans according to adult learning theory and providing a high-impact, interactive environment.

Identifies learning needs within assigned business units. Develops professional, collaborative relationships with business unit leaders.

Develops and implements learning curriculum that is consistent with current trends and best practices. Utilizes internal and external resources as necessary to achieve goals.

Collaborates with training team to assess, design, develop and maintain training solutions and components.

Tracks and analyzes learning curriculum effectiveness through various evaluation techniques, including the evaluation of individual performances.

Provides reporting to business area and training management.

Assists in educating employees on the use of the Learning Management System, MS Teams, and other technologies.

Communicates effectively and proactively with subject matter experts, business partners, and design team.

Maintains current business knowledge; stays abreast of market events, investment product enhancements, and successful sales techniques to be up-to-speed on potential training topics.

Assumes responsibility for ongoing development, researching training industry standards and best practices and embracing new technologies.

Coordinate logistics of training to include training room, attendance tracking, passwords, materials, and supplies.

Partners with instructional designers to evaluate, maintain, develop and / or deliver content to support training programs and deliverables.

Independently owns small complex training projects or participates in larger complex projects / programs with supervision, including needs assessment, development, delivery, resource, and project management, adhering to timelines and team standards.

Mentors less tenured trainers : may provide train-the-trainer resources and / or qualify trainers for content delivery.

What you will bring

Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience

FINRA Series 7 required

4+ years of practical business experience with developing and delivering training solutions

Certification in training and / or organizational development

Knowledge and experience in contemporary adult learning

Strong skill level MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Forms, Teams, SharePoint, and PowerPoint)

Continuous learning with aptitude and desire to learn new tools, products, and techniques quickly

Demonstrated success in developing learning curriculums

Strong motivational and interpersonal skills

Strong presentation and classroom management skills

Excellent judgement and time management skills

Highly organized and accountable

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment

Intermediate proficiency using Articulate 360 (Rise, Storyline, Review), Techsmith (Snagit, Camtasia), and Workday LMS

Base Salary Range

$69,400.00 - $98,050.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program.

Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance.

Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and / or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
