The ERCOT Internship Program allows college students the opportunity to develop their skills in a technical and high-paced, professional work environment.

Interns receive assignments and projects that aim to solve real challenges facing the electric industry. The internship program also allows students to experience working alongside ERCOT employees and being part of a team.

Throughout the internship, ERCOT leaders are able to evaluate each individual interns' capabilities and compatibility with ERCOT's mission, vision and values.

We are recruiting for multiple interns that will ultimately fill roles in the following areas of ERCOT :

  • Business Intelligence & Analytics
  • Collaboration and End Point Management
  • Grid and Market Solutions (GMS) Systems Support
  • Grid and Market Solutions (GMS) Technology Development
  • IT Architecture and Strategy
  • Market Application Services Support
  • Resource Inspections
  • Test Automation Development

Desired Educational Level :

Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or other IT related field.

Eligible candidates should be enrolled in an academic bachelors or post graduate degree program maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
