System One is looking for a Process Engineer local to Richland, WA to join our client’s engineering team.
This is a contract position onsite in Richland, WA with the possibility of extension or conversion. You will enjoy a competitive salary, as well as a supportive and collaborative work environment.
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications :
Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Ceramics, Chemistry or Industrial) with a minimum of 3 years work experience.
Work will vary but can include
- Help verify parameters and ensure technically applied on floor
- Ensures compliance with government, organization, and customer engineering standards
- Data analysis to support improvements
- Perform troubleshooting and provide technical resolution of technical problems
- Review of past events to improve barriers
- Support tooling and fixturing design and improvements
- Identify and help implement improvements in Safety, Quality and Productivity
- Update procedures
- Lean 6-Sigma or Lean principles a plus
