Essential Functions
- Assist Division of Research staff with research lab maintenance. Includes cleaning instrumentation, checking equipment for proper function, as well as various other support duties.
- Assist staff with monitoring research facilities for safety issues.
- Perform administrative and clerical duties.
- Fill support role at the reception desk to accept package deliveries.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be a currently enrolled student at Auburn University
Expectations :
- Strong communication skills
- Must be a team player and willing to do a wide variety of assignments
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer study in science related field - Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Patho Biology, Pre-Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Kinesiology.
- Mechanical aptitude with machinery helpful
- Experience using hand tools helpful
Pay Rate
$12.00 - $15.00 / hour
Work Hours
9am - 2pm; Monday-Friday (20 hours)
