Position Purpose :

Shred-it Hudson, NH is hiring for a Non CDL Route Box Truck Driver. You will be responsible for taking care of all customer document destruction needs, including transporting supplies and materials in a 26' Box Truck.

This involves loading and unloading the truck at customer sites.

4 Days a Week; Mon-Fri; 6am Start; 10 hour Shifts; $22.09hr; OT Available : Time &1 / 2 after 40 hrs

• Drive & Operate a Non CDL 26' Box Truck in a safe and efficient manner.
• Swap out full bin of confidential information with an empty at customer location and wheel to Shred-it Box Truck.
• Maintains a high level of security when emptying consoles and / or collection totes by ensuring all documents are retrieved and the consoles / containers are securely locked.
• Services accounts using a hand-held device, ensuring console / containers are barcoded, locations are up to date, and the accuracy of type and quantity of consoles / containers.
• Complies with all local, state and federal laws governing driver fitness and hours of service. Complete and maintain DOT logs when applicable.
• Performs pre-trip, post-trip checks, and driver check-in on assigned truck, prior to leaving or closing for the day. Reports any maintenance problems to Transportation / Dispatcher for follow-up.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities, as needed.

Experience :

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Drivers Lic.
• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to obtain & maintain a DOT Med Card.
• At least 6 months of route driving experience preferred.
• Ability to Lift 80LB required
• Must be able to operate a hand held device.
