About the Role :
Boston Scientific in Arden Hills, MN is searching for a Senior Material Handling and Warehousing Manager to join their team.
This leader will oversee warehousing, logistics, receiving & inspection, and material handling for the site. They will partner with materials management, production, engineering and quality teams to drive improvements and meet business goals.
Your Responsibilities will Include :
- Ensure timely receipt, inspection and delivery of product while meeting safety, quality, service and cost goals.
- Manage labor, warehousing and freight spend strategies while maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Utilize market trends and operational excellence principles, systems and tools to drive change and improve efficiency, effectiveness and agility.
- Establish annual and long-range budget; monitor and improve financial performance and spend.
- Lead, coach and develop people leaders responsible for team performance.
- Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
- Oversee processes for cycle counting, obsolete and excess material, retain requests and expiration management.
- Work closely with finance and quality teams to ensure procedures align with current finance policies and quality system requirements.
- Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports BSC Quality Policy and Employee Safety Programs.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or similar
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role
- 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Distribution or similar
- Experience with SAP (or other similar ERP system)
- Continuous improvement and / or lean manufacturing experience
Preferred Qualifications :
- Proven ability to communicate clearly at all levels of an organization
- Medical device / technology industry experience
- Experience utilizing Workday Adaptive Planning and / or Rapid Response
