Marine Electrician
Marine services company in Seattle is hiring a Marine Electrician to install and maintain wiring and electrical systems on commercial fishing boats, ferries, yachts, etc. Responsibilities include :
- Working with pumps, motors, electronics, wiring, and fixtures throughout vessels
- Installing and configuring generators and shore-power connections to deliver energy to the boat systems
- Connecting power supply wiring for newly installed equipment
- Using test equipment to troubleshoot and resolve malfunctioning apparatus
- Replacing fault electrical components
- Maintenance and repair of vessels electrical equipment
Job Requirements
Requirements :
- 3+ years of experience as a Marine Electrician
- Journeyman license
- Ability to maintain and troubleshoot motor starter circuits, diagnose 3 phase power, and perform motor load calculations
- Be proficient in marine electrical installations
