Job Description :

As an Inside Sales Account Manager , you will provide a premium in service to our customers while maintaining a responsible cost structure to Mill Steel’s financial success as a Service Center.

All the while generating a positive atmosphere outwards to our customers and coordinating with all other departments and employees at Mill Steel the successful delivery of product.

To also engage in a leadership role with designated account base, salesperson(s), our staff’s and departments at Mill Steel, thus creating and leading an energetic work environment for our company.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting, customer relationships.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our product according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly / quarterly initiatives to management.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Prepare reports on account status.
  • Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Aged inventory management
  • Pricing accuracy
  • Order entry accuracy
  • Clear and effective communication of stock availability to customers and Sales Representatives via phone and email.
  • Fulfillment flow management
  • Complete weekly summary reporting to send to Inside Sales Manager and Senior Fulfillment Director

Qualifications :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Time Management.
  • The ability to grow and develop strong relationships.
  • The ability to multitask & work on a team.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel
