At The Madrone School, we use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help our students, grades K-12, learn and grow in a school environment.
Currently on two campuses, our Redmond campous provides a setting for students who require 1 : 1 instruction and older students developing adaptive and vocational skills.
Our Woodinville campus serves our younger, emerging learners. Instructional domains across all of our programs include : communication / verbal behavior, functional academics, self-management skills, social skills, leisure skills, adaptive skills, prevocational skills, and managing challenging behaviors.
Our BCBAs maintain small caseloads, work out of our school locations (no driving), and maintain full-time, day-time hours (8 : 00-4 : 30).

Minimum Qualifications :
- Master’s degree in ABA, Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing with the BACB
- Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Washington (or ability to become licensed prior to start date)
- Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) and / or Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LaBA)
- 1+ years of experience working with autistic individuals
Preferred Qualifications :
- 1+ years working as a BCBA
- Experience working in a school setting and / or collaborating with special educators, speech therapists and occupational therapists
- Experience working with clients who utilize alternative, augmentative communication (AAC)
- Experience conducting FBAs / PFAs, implementing Behavior Intervention Plans and managing behaviors of concern
- Experience leading and managing a team of Behavior Technicians / aides
- Experience conducting behavior analytic assessments including : VB MAPP, AFLS, ABLLS
- Experience and knowledge of naturalistic developmental behavioral interventions (NDBIs) such as ESDM and PRT
BCBA Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments and re-assessments as needed
- Develop, write, implement, and update treatment plans
- Evaluate students’ progress and make changes to interventions as needed utilizing data collection application (Rethink)
- Demonstrate mastery of basic and advanced behavior analytic principles and teaching methods
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and Functional Analyses as needed and write corresponding Behavior Intervention Plans
- Provide direct supervision and support when high levels of distress and behaviors of concern are observed
- Conduct regular individualized parent / caregiver training and support
- Provide supervision, training, and mentorship to a team of Behavior Technicians
- Collaborate with students’ related service providers and / or other ABA service providers
- Seek out professional development opportunities
- Keep track of billable hours, maintain session notes, and maintain familiarity with billable expectations with the support of the Clinical Director and our Billing Specialist
