Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management : Initiate business development activities to establish and expand client relationships.
Proactively assess and address clients' current and evolving financial needs, promoting relevant products and services.
- Business Growth : Build and maintain a profitable portfolio of loans and deposits to meet individual and market goals.
- Client Needs Analysis : Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of clients' personal and financial data to develop a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
- Prospect Qualification : Evaluate potential clients by gathering and analyzing financial and related information to assess their creditworthiness and the merits of specific loan requests.
- Loan Approval Process : Prepare and oversee the completion of loan approval requirements, ensuring careful underwriting to meet the needs of both the borrower and the bank.
Secure appropriate approvals for credit considerations.
- Terms Negotiation : Recommend and negotiate loan terms, including pricing, fees, costs, repayment methods and schedules, and collateral requirements.
- Portfolio Management : Manage and monitor the quality of the credit portfolio, addressing issues such as past-due credits, non-performing assets, credit exceptions, and covenant compliance.
- Community Involvement : Actively participate in and represent the Bank at various community, civic, and professional organizations.
- Loan Committee Referral : Refer loans to the loan committee for approval.
- Financial Advisory : Understand clients’ financial goals, provide credible advice, and recommend suitable products. Deeply understand clients’ business priorities and refer them to other business lines as appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Seven (7) years of proven relationship / account management experience selling banking products in the appropriate segmentation required.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to generate new business through a consultative sales approach.
- Demonstrated sales and negotiating experience.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationships.
- Well-versed in product knowledge.
- Credit training, credit quality and underwriting experience; including financial analysis.
- PLUS : Experience working in Capital Markets and / or within the Middle Market space ($50MM+).
Pay : $125K-$185K + Commission (Compensation can vary depending on experience)
