Local A&D Trade Manager, Gaggenau

Greater Los Angeles area / Full-time

Your responsibilities

  • Deliver a Gaggenau brand experience to our trade clients that should be comparable to our ultra-luxury product position in the market.
  • Define and develop sales program(s) through education and brand awareness strategies for the region’s luxury trade (designers / architects / single-home builders) channel while also managing their growth, driving retail sales to meet our annual retail revenue goals.
  • Lead the regional business development of the Gaggenau trade program by identifying and on-boarding key specifiers (luxury and ultra-luxury designers / architects / builders / kitchen studios) who influence the purchasing of their luxury clients.
  • Oversee the region’s trade program's (Club 1683) leads’ funnel through collaboration with the Gaggenau MarCom agency and showroom trade leads.
  • Manage and execute the day-to-day operations of supporting the trade program members' needs to continue their specifying Gaggenau appliances and meeting the program's annual sales performance minimums.
  • Support the management trade rewards fulfillment systems and tracking between dealer accounts and trade client.
  • Deliver to trade and dealers Gaggenau product expertise in overall brand, luxury positioning, and product knowledge, pairing these parties together when needed, working in collaboration with the Gaggenau Sales Manager and BSH Sales.
  • Create and host training curriculum for trade clients, for in person and virtual presentation.
  • Review design projects with a thorough understanding / expertise of the kitchen design planning process to guide trade clients on best placement of Gaggenau appliances.
  • Manage measurability reports / track NPS or other client satisfaction reporting.
  • Manage a CRM database, ie Sales Force, to maintain / cultivate the regional trade specifier database and develop and track KPIs of program membership / sales.
  • Identify, create, execute trade cultivation / brand awareness events / engagements in collaboration with the Trade Marketing / Brand Manager, BSH Sales and Experience Center Teams.
  • Identify and deliver marketing assets from the trade program members for the Brand's usage.
  • Work collaboratively with Gaggenau Sales Managers, BSH District Sales Managers, BSH Builder Sales Managers and Dealer Sales Associates to inform all involved of new and existing project opportunities and members in the Gaggenau Trade program.
  • Oversee the Gaggenau trade client journey from end to end : from product planning and order specifying, to order placement at retail through BSH order management, to delivery / install, to customer service and / or to post purchase follow-up and engagement.
  • Support Gaggenau Sales Managers in dealer account efforts as needed.
  • Support Gaggenau Brand Team on the creation of / content verification of sales tools and materials.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree Required
  • Certification (training / education on interior architecture / design spatial planning) Required
  • 5-7 Years of Experience (Luxury Home Design, account management and business development) Required
  • 5-7 Years of Experience (Work experience in spatial planning, and understanding architectural and design plans, ideally in the kitchen industry, with familiarity reading CAD, BIM or other design files.) Required
  • Be extremely well-organized and able to coordinate day-to-day communications with internal cross functional teams and clients.
  • Deliver communications on par with a luxury brand expectation.
  • Have strong presentation skills in person and virtually, ability to present sales / training presentations / light cooking demos.
  • Can identify opportunities to create best workflows and practices.
  • Thrive working independently as well as within a team dynamic.
  • Strong attention to detail and prioritization of projects and responses needed.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of Gaggenau brand and products, as well as those of competitors.
  • Passion and familiarity with cooking and using luxury household appliances.
  • General luxury brand marketing understanding / ability to leverage relationships into brand assets.
  • Excellent communicator in English, verbal and written form, Spanish language a plus.
  • Conduct oneself as a professional representative of luxury brands with polish, energy, and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent people skills, computer skills, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity of CRM database management.
  • Domestic Travel by car, airplane, boat, etc. - can include overnight and weekends. 50-75% of time will be spent in the field.
  • Must have a motor vehicle and a valid driver's license; company will review motor vehicle reports in compliance with local / state and federal law.
  • Acquire within first 6mo. of role, CEU accreditation.
  • Travel Percentage 75%

Your Pay & Benefits

The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location.

If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.

Benefits offered include the following :

  • Wellness Plan that allows participating employees to earn lower medical care premiums.
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan starting on the first day of the calendar month following 30 days of service. The plan provides a fully vested 100% employer match on the first 4% of compensation contributed and also includes an annual employer-funded profit sharing contribution dependent on company profitability.
  • Two weeks of paid vacation for all non-temporary status new hires below Director level positions. Vacation entitlement increases based on years of service with BSH.
  • Unlimited paid vacation for all Director and above level positions.
  • The greater of (a) 40 hours of paid sick leave or (b) state or local minimum requirements for paid leave (Non-Production Line).
  • 40 hours of paid personal leave (Production Line).
  • 12 days of paid holidays per year (max 8 hours paid per day).
  • Adoption Reimbursement Program, Perks at Work, and BSH Employee Purchase Program.
  • BSH provides ongoing product training, uniforms, computer tablet, cell phone and a company vehicle for eligible positions.
