PROJECT MANAGER (SUSTAINABILITY)

Overview :

The Project Manager is an integral part of implementing the companys sustainability strategy by managing data collection and reporting with a focus on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, assisting with sustainability regulatory reporting / compliance, assisting with managing internal sustainability committees / working groups, tracking operational and facilities sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities :

• GHGs and Reporting : Support preparation of GHG reports but collecting, analyzing, and compiling data on Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions from activities across the company.
• Ensure compliance with the selected frameworks including the GHG Protocol.
• Generate reports, facilitate responses to external data requests.
• Manage carbon accounting / ESG software platform.
• Facilitate preparation of various sustainability reports including Atlas Airs annual sustainability report, and compliance with frameworks such as EU ETS, CORSIA, etc.
• Support the development and implementation various sustainability initiatives in alignment with Atlas Airs sustainability strategy and goals.
• Project management for sustainability initiatives and strategic projects.
• Coordinate with stakeholders internally to implement and track initiatives.
• Participate in the development and interpretation of company sustainability accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications :

• BS / BA in Environmental Sciences, Data Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Policy, or related field required.
• Five (5) years of experience with at least three years of experience in a corporate sustainability / ESG role.
• Exceptional project management, organizational and analytical abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience developing GHG emissions inventories using frameworks such as GHG Protocol, experience developing emissions reduction goals in alignment with SBTi preferred.
• Familiarity with carbon emissions / ESG reporting regulations and platforms preferred.
• Experience creating reports and dashboards with data visualization software (ex. Tableau, PowerBI) and data analytics preferred.
• Experience working with disparate stakeholders to achieve a common goal.
• Airline industry experience a plus.

Skills :

• Project management experience a plus.
• Must have excellent PC skills (Excel, Word, PPT).
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and multitasking.
• Available to work beyond normal office hours as needed.
• Attention to detail; self-motivated; Team player.

Salary Range : $78,500 - $106,000

Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors to include but not limited to location, relevant experience / level and skillset.
