Occupational Summary

Participate in the planning and coordinate the execution of research projects, and support program directors project related activities.

Work Performed

  • Develop and submit documentation and information for Institutional Review Board (IRB) review
  • Develop consent plans and documents for participants in a variety of studies.
  • Communicate with the IRB staff and reviewers and investigators in order to correctly document all adverse events (AEs), and determines whether or not they are reportable.
  • Prepare and submit documents and online components needed for enrollment status, regulatory and safety reporting to the institution, sponsors and other agencies.
  • Plan, implement, and coordinate systems designed to monitor the collection, storing, cleaning and dissemination of data related to specific projects as required to assist programs and / or projects director.
  • Maintain liaison with faculty members, practicing professionals and representatives of related projects to coordinate the collection and dissemination of related data, including a monthly newsletter with relevant study-related details.
  • Under the instruction of study investigators, edit, format and maintain documentssuch as : Grant proposals Abstract or Manuscripts (including online submissions) Presentations Data Collection Tools Collaborator letters of support, training tables, CVs and Biographical Sketches Regulatory binders including Study protocols, SAPs and SOPs
  • Assist with and ensure adherence to timeline for completion of project milestones set by sponsors.
  • Maintain financial documentationand reconcile project expenditures.
  • Plan, organize and maintain meetings, notes and communications about research projects
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Education

Experience

Work requires a general knowledge of research methods, procedures, and experience activities normally acquired through 1 year of social science research OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND / OR
