JOB SUMMARY :

The Education and Cultural Programs Coordinator will assist the Education and Cultural Programs Manager in implementing and managing the Copper Mountain Foundation's educational and cultural programs.

The Coordinator will handle day-to-day logistics, communications, and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of scholarship programs, cultural initiatives, and community engagement activities.

This position is ideal for someone passionate about cultural preservation and education with strong organizational skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Program Coordination :

  • Support the implementation of educational programs, including scholarship and grant initiatives (youth grants, career grants, college scholarships, vocational scholarships).
  • Assist in coordinating cultural events and initiatives such as Native Arts Classes, Tatitlek Cultural Heritage Week, and activities at the Kelly House Center.
  • Work with community members, shareholders, and program participants to ensure the successful delivery of programs.

2. Administrative Support :

  • Manage program logistics, including scheduling, communication with participants, and maintaining records of program activities.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting reports on program performance and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and organized files for scholarships, grants, and cultural programs.

3. Communications and Outreach :

  • Serve as a point of contact for scholarship applicants, program participants, and community members.
  • Assist in promoting programs through written materials, social media, newsletters, and other communication platforms.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with shareholders, stakeholders, and partners.

4. Fundraising and Grants Assistance :

  • Assist in researching and identifying potential grant opportunities to support educational and cultural programs.
  • Help prepare grant proposals and contribute to grant reporting under the supervision of the Education and Cultural

Programs Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS : Education :

Education :

High school diploma

Experience :

1-3 years of experience in an administrative, coordination, or support role.

Skills :

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with event planning, scheduling, and logistics.
  • Familiarity with social media and digital communication platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
