Eliot is seeking an experienced Clinician with both individual and group therapy oversight as well as supervisory experience for the position of Juvenile Justice Clinical Program Specialist.

The ideal candidate has worked with adolescents, has an understanding of DBT skills, and works well in a team setting.

Eliot’s Juvenile Justice programming includes a residential network for youth ages 13 to 21 who are court involved and need placement while awaiting return to court, assessment or longer term treatment.

These highly structured, self-contained programs offer a comprehensive intervention for juvenile offenders. The Juvenile Justice Clinical Program Specialist will provide clinical oversight and consultation to all Juvenile Justice Residential programs and float between programs.

Responsibilities :

  • Co-facilitate individual, group and family engagement and therapy and model for clinical staff.
  • Co-facilitate treatment team meetings to discuss Individual Service Plans, progress reviews, re-entry plans and discharge plans and model for clinical staff.
  • Ensure clinical staff are trained in, and effectively utilize, funder and agency EMRs and databases.
  • Provide clinical training, modeling, supervision and feedback to assigned clinical staff.
  • Oversee, monitor, facilitate and provide feedback on effectiveness of daily groups.
  • Ensure all components of Identified Evidence Based Treatments are delivered through a Trauma Informed Care framework.
  • Attend administrative, shift change, staff, and clinical meetings in assigned programs.
  • Assist crisis intervention, including crisis plans, emergency psychiatric screenings and higher level of care placements.
  • Conduct planned and emergency intakes as needed.
  • Serve as an on-call resource for clinical services.

Qualifications : Master’s degree or higher in a related field required. Must be licensed as an independent practitioner (LICSW or LMHC), and have at least three years post-license and supervisory experience working with children, youth and adolescents.

Ability to develop and maintain professional working and therapeutic relationships in residential settings. Experience in Trauma Informed Care, ARC, DBT and PYD is preferred.

Knowledge and experience with clinical issues of children, youth, adolescents and families.

Schedule : 40 hours full time, flexible

Location : Float between Juvenile Justice Programs

Salary Range : $80,000-$85,000

6% bilingual salary increase if fluent in the needed language capacity.

The sign-on bonus is prorated for positions under 40 hours per week
