Job Description
We are seeking for a dynamic and self-motivated Sales Account Manager to oversee all sales as it relates to employment, reporting, analyzing, budgeting and most important, ensuring customer satisfaction.
In addition, the person must understand sales methods and can achieve a high level of closing percentages. The Key to success is becoming a product & process expert.

As a Sales Account Manager you will be required to concentrate on business development and client relations ensuring that ASI is meeting is sales and growth expectations.
The basic roles and responsibilities are as follows :
- Responsible for obtaining new revenue accounts as well as maintaining and organically growing existing accounts.
- Develops strong, long-term relationships with existing customers and prospective customers through constant communication and relentless attention to their needs.
- Employs active listening and effective communications skills with customers and team members.
- Acts as a trusted advisor to existing and prospective customers by providing expert insights and custom solutions tailored to the needs of the customer.
- Establishes and executes a systematic, effective sales process to identify and address the prospects needs.
- Actively prospect for new leads, qualify potential opportunities, and manage the sales pipeline to consistently achieve sales targets.
- Track leads and progress and sales pipeline using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Monitors competition and market condition by gathering current marketplace information to determine margins that align with the market and company goals.
- Maintains strong ethical sales process focusing on long-term customer relationships as opposed to a one-time sale.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
- Responsible for reviewing and following up on accounts receivable as it relates to the individuals project sold.
- Monitors individual sales revenue against established sales revenue goals.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications;
establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Establishes bid strategies based on knowledge of individual clients, historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
- Works with the estimating team to ensure accuracy of bid and appropriate mark up.
- Perform accurate project takeoffs and estimates.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Word.
- Adhere to ASI's Mission and Vision.
As a Sales Account Manager, you will be required to obtain and maintain the following skills and qualifications :
- Mid-level computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook) and Bluebeam; Excellent organizational skills and attention to details;
- excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to learn new office software (Heavy Bid); ability to prioritize and multi-task;
ability to take initiative and ownership of projects as well as the ability to routinely and independently exercise sound judgment.
