Union position - CNA starting rate : $24.39 and NA starting rate : $21.79

Shift differential for shifts starting after 3 pm

Position Summary :

Our compassionate CNAs are key members of our interdisciplinary team that provides care, service, and support to our residents.

Our CNAs are responsible for a number of important tasks such as :

• Assisting residents to feel and look their best by helping them with getting dressed, bathing, as well as grooming.
• Ensuring that they receive needed care / service by proactively communicating with other members of the interdisciplinary team about resident needs.
• Helping our residents feel comfortable in their space by giving attention to cleanliness and furniture arrangement.
• Supporting residents in pursuing their interests by helping them engage in our life enrichment program.
• Sharing your knowledge and expertise with other team members to better serve the residents.

Qualifications for CNAs

• High school diploma or GED
• Current, active CNA Certificate or graduation from a CNA Certification program.
• Current First Aid certification
• Prior skilled nursing experience and 6 months of experience as a CNA preferred

Qualifications for NAs

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in geriatrics and caring for residents with cognitive impairment, preferred / not required
• Experience as a Nursing Assistant, preferred / not required
• Strong service orientation

Physical Requirements

• Daily duties include lifting, squatting, bending, reaching, prolonged standing, walking
• Must be able to frequently lift and / or move up to 50+ pounds
• Ability to stand and / or walk up to 90% of the time
