Position Summary
Working under minimal supervision, manage the UW activities of Insured Solutions PEO / MGA. This includes ensuring that Underwriting standards of Vensure and the partner Carriers are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in Carrier / Parent audits.
- Ensure that field UWs are adhering to standards and submitting quality accounts and submission information to the carriers.
- Regular participation in parent company UW Council.
- Referral of accounts from field outside of their authority levels. Refer accounts beyond authority to Vensure Mgt.
- Exclusive UW and pricing responsibilities for large deductible policies.
- Close working relationships with Vensure and IS Loss Control
- Training sessions, as needed
- Special Projects, as assigned
- Reporting to IS and Vensure Sr UW Management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Field UWs report to this individual.
- Pricing and UW audits of field Underwriters.
Education & Experience
- 5-10 years of Workers Compensation background. Preferably with / within PEO organizations.
- Experience working within MGA and / or Carrier environments.
