Position Summary
NextLink Labs is seeking a proactive and strategic Chief of Staff to support our CEO and executive team. This vital role will act as a trusted advisor and partner, ensuring the effective execution of strategic initiatives and maintaining operational efficiency across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, a strong strategic mindset, and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects.
As Chief of Staff, you will translate the CEO's vision into actionable goals, manage critical deadlines, and oversee key organizational initiatives.
You will be instrumental in fostering a high-performance culture, optimizing operational processes, and contributing to strategic planning efforts.

Responsibilities
- Provide extensive support and serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team.
- Aid the CEO in developing, communicating, executing, and maintaining strategic initiatives. Translate broader strategies into specific annual goals and objectives for performance and growth.
- Act as a representative for the CEO in various executive roles. Prepare and brief the CEO for strategic meetings, presentations, quarterly executive offsites, and major initiatives.
Participate in executive meetings and deliver progress updates to stakeholders.
- Oversee large, cross-functional, organization-wide projects or initiatives. Manage critical deadlines, organize necessary resources, and ensure accountability to achieve successful project completion.
- Research, benchmark, analyze data, and provide recommendations. Develop systems and processes to streamline operations.
- Plan and coordinate executive meetings, including offsites, board meetings, and company-wide meetings, covering agendas and logistics.
- Monitor the organization's performance and emerging issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up or adjustments to strategies or plans.
- Contribute to strategic planning efforts by conducting market research, competitive analysis, and staying informed about industry trends.
- Develop and implement operational processes, systems, and policies to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee the hiring process, including sourcing top talent, conducting interviews, and managing the onboarding experience.
- Develop and oversee feedback and performance review processes, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting employee growth.
- Plan and execute retreats, team-building activities, and other employee engagement initiatives to nurture a positive work environment.

Ideal Candidates will have
- 3+ years of Strategy and Management Consulting experience at top firm (BCG, Bain, McKinsey, etc.)
- 6+ years of professional experience in strategic planning, business design / development or similar function, ideally with a fast growing startup
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
- Ability to use data to analyze performance and drive strategic decision making
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities, capable of making well-informed and timely decisions
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to to build buy-in, facilitate compromise and develop strong relationships
- Advanced organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and with precision
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, attending meetings, conferences and events, visiting company locations, clients and partners.
