GENERAL SUMMARY :
Under general supervision, monitors cardiac rhythms and pulse oximetry of patients to detect abnormal pattern variances via telemetry equipment.
Notifies nursing and / or medical personnel according to established procedure. Performs clerical related duties as necessary.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED :
- Required Education and / or Experience :
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education and / or Experience :
- Minimum three months of previous healthcare or monitor tech experience
- Must pass initial and ongoing competencies
