POSITION SUMMARY :
To assist in preparation of annual operating and capital budgets, along with detailed monthly reports and analysis as needed by Management for monitoring system operations.
EDUCATION :
Four-year college degree preferred with some accounting credits or other business-related field. An equivalent combination of an Associate’s degree and 3-5 years’ experience can be considered.
EXPERIENCE :
Financial background preferably with previous healthcare industry (hospital or medical group setting) or consulting experience.
Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with department leadership, accounting team, as well as other staff.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to navigate Finance applications, operational and reporting systems. These include, but are not limited to : MediTech, Athena, Anodyne, AXIOM, and QLIK
SPECIAL SKILLS :
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills as well as excellent organization and presentation skills. Advanced Excel and analytical skills required.
Personal computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft office products a must. Ability to analyze complex problems, link operational KPI-s with financial results, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions.
