Who you are...
- You are energetic, inspiring and adventurous
- You have knowledge of food and beverage standards
- You enjoy going above and beyond for your team and guests
- You have knowledge of banquet space organization
- You work well independently and as a member of a cohesive team
- You possess a current Food Handlers permit and OLCC Server’s Permit
- You are available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- You have a minimum of one year of serving experience, ideally in a hotel / resort environment
What you'll do
- Maintain a professional standard at Tetherow
- Uphold the standards, expectations, and service quality for all events set forth by Tetherow
- Prepare rooms for events (set tablecloths, dishes, silverware and condiments as needed)
- Study and know understand menus to answer guest questions related to food and beverage options
- Know and understand health regulations and liquor laws
- Follow directions as detailed from leadership
- Handle client / guest complaints and problems in a professional manner to ensure a successful outcome
- Assist with opening and closing duties, as well as complete side duties
- Manage time efficiently to prepare for multiple events
