Industrial Services / Hazmat Technician
Responsibilities
- Hydro Blasting
- Confined Space Entry*
- Tank Cleaning
- Commercial pressure washing
- Vacuum Truck Operations
- Able to work with a team
- Can think outside the box
- Ability to make sound decisions
- Mechanically inclined
- Emergency Response
- Hazardous & Non-Hazardous Waste Handling & Disposal
- Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and industrial environments.
- Manually clean, install, fit repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets and all other external and internal equipment on tanks.
Requirements
- Must be able to travel out of town for extended periods of time
- Respond to emergency calls 24 hours, 7 days a week if called upon.
- Ability to work for extended periods of time within a confined space, in extreme temperature environments and at high elevation.
- Ability to perform duties in accordance with training and standard operating procedures, Ability to understand and follow specific procedures and directions.
- Ability to lift, move and handle up to 50lb hoses
- Successfully complete drug screen, pre-employment physical and all required background checks.
- Hydro-blasting or pressure cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
- General labor experience is a plus.
