KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Quality Engineer : manufacturing product quality assurance, RCA, Lean Six Sigma

Purpose of Position :

Maintain and improve the Quality of manufactured products and associated parts

Essential duties and / or Functions :

  • Direct / lead QA auditors
  • Prepare RFCs for quality documents
  • Review NCMN's
  • Manage customer and internal concerns, lead problem resolution initiatives with 8D methodology
  • Production part Approval on all components
  • Establish, maintain, improve and institutionalize quality standards onproduction cells
  • Participate / lead Material Review Board (MRB) where appropriated
  • Identify and launch systems that can be institutionalized to improve Quality, Costs and Delivery in the products
  • Establish and maintain appropriate RIAF's and associated measurement tools and methods
  • Support the business as necessary to deliver its targets
  • Other duties as required such as supplier audits.

Required Minimum Qualifications :

  • Degree level in Mechanical / Material / Manufacturing Engineering strongly preferred
  • 3-5+ years' experience in manufacturing environment with a focus on quality engineering
  • Root cause analysis (RCA) skills are preferred
  • Experience with Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing
  • Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing training preferred

Preferred / Desired Skills or Experiences :

  • PC literate in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to read product drawings
  • Effective and efficient troubleshooting.
  • Logical methodology of work.
  • Fact based decision making
  • Ability to write professional reports / documents

The final compensation offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc.
