Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our primarily cash based clinic. This position is new to our clinic and to the area so will require a real go-giver who isn’t afraid to put themselves out there and help grow their own clientele.
Of course, we will help and promote you as well. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages, primarily women in their reproductive years and possibly children (if allowed by your license).
Working in collaboration with our team of healthcare professionals (Massage Therapists, Physical Therapist, Chiropractor, and Midwives) to deliver high-quality patient care is our goal.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, be able to collaborate as a team, and willing to think outside the box when it comes to patient care.
Many of our patients are looking for someone who truly wants to get to the root of the problem instead of throwing a drug such as birth control at them.
This person must have a huge passion for patient-centered care and be willing to serve the patient above all else.
Expected Hours :
While this is currently flexible we are asking for at least 20 hours of availability including day time hours on Wednesday from 9-5 and Friday from 9-2.
Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays can be broken up or served all in one full shift. Saturday hours can also be an option if so desired.
Key Responsibilities :
- Patient Care :
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
- Develop, implement, and manage treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed.
- Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaboration :
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Participate in patient case conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Serve as a resource and consultant to the healthcare team.
- Patient Education :
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
- Promote health and wellness through patient education and counseling.
- Provide and collaborate with other providers on various office events and classes.
- Documentation :
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation of patient encounters, treatments, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and practice standards.
- Practice Management :
- Contribute to the development and implementation of practice policies and procedures.
- Marketing :
- Attend various networking opportunities to promote both yourself and the practice and represent all providers in a professional manner.
- Attend all office events-occasionally on weekends (often family friendly and proper notice will be given)
- Help with various social media and other online marketing.
- Professional Development :
- Stay current with medical advancements, healthcare trends, and continuing education requirements.
- Participate in professional organizations and attend relevant conferences and seminars.
Qualifications :
- Education : Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Licensure : Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Location .
- Certification : National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., FNP, ANP, PNP) from an accredited certifying body.
- Experience : Minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care or specialty setting.

- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
