A 2.5b AUM global alternative asset manager located in Greenwich, CT is looking to hire a Compliance Associate to their growing team.
This is a key role for the business as it will report directly to the GC / CCO and be responsible for closely assisting with the daily operations of the compliance program.
Responsibilities :
- Managing the firm’s Code of Ethics program
- Drafting and implementing policies and procedures
- Coordinating the firm’s annual compliance review
- Assisting with the preparation of regulatory filings
- Partnering with other departments at the firm to ensure continual improvement of compliance monitoring systems, processes and oversight
- Preparing training material
Skills and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-6 years of experience in a compliance role within the investment management industry
- Experience ideally at a hedge fund or other type of Registered Investment Adviser
- Extensive knowledge of SEC regulations; NFA and CFTC knowledge highly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
