Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Supporting planning and scheduling teams to improve production accuracy ensuring schedule adherence
- Standardizing and documenting the scheduling and planning process in plants
- Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Developing and optimizing process governance for all supply chain processes in the plant
- Acting as a support group for any plant’s day-to-day performance recovery
- Focusing on training and skill development for plant MP&L capabilities
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in process governance and support across different departments or business units
- Conducting regular audits and assessments to evaluate the adherence and the effectiveness of process governance
- Supporting and governing the PP, MM, SD and WM modules in SAP for the region
- Supporting supervision of overall inventory control, order processing, warehouse activities, transportation, maintenance and customer service
- Manage other functional process managers in designing / improving, and supporting manufacturing planning processes in the plants
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 7-10 years' team management / leadership experience in process governance, standardization and support
- 4-6 years' minimum experience as plant MP&L Manager in a manufacturing / industrial environment
- Previous experience managing other functional process managers in designing / improving, and supporting manufacturing planning processes in the plant
Skills Requirements
- Skilled in standardizing and documenting critical scheduling and planning processes within manufacturing / warehouse plants
- Proficient in governing and supporting key SAP modules such as PP, MM, SD, and WM to optimize regional supply chain activities
- Adept at enhancing production accuracy and reducing backlogs through effective KPI management and process improvements
- Proficient with data analytics skills and using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau and SQL
- Experienced in crafting and executing targeted training programs for enhancing MP&L capabilities across multi-functional teams
- Reporting and governance of regional MP&L KPI's
- Up to 20% travel (Domestic / International)
Preferred Skills
- Experience in project / program management
- Supply Chain Certifications (APICS, CSCP, CPIM)
- Distribution experience a plus
- Masters degree
