We are seeking an experienced Manager, Collections and Special Projects with the big picture vision to lead a departmental transformation.
This is a remote position reporting to our Santa Clarita, CA office.
Heres a summary of what Princess is looking for in its Manager, Collections and Special Projects. Is this you?
Responsibilities
- Redesign process workflow utilizing analytics to identify root cause; and manage daily tasks in both the chargeback and collections area to stay current and within compliance.
- Participate in the design and testing of daily credit card balancing and bank reconciliations using Blackline.
- Participate in the interface design and automation of the shipboard data to the general ledger and the shipboard PCI compliance project.
- Perform required department related SOX testing, certify controls and processes, and provide related schedules and support to internal and external auditors according to established departmental timelines.
- Drive the development of workflow and system enhancement, design and implementations with monthly management reporting ensuring that appropriate controls are incorporated into project design and that proper testing of related system revisions is performed to prevent system and processing errors.
- Establish / monitor department and staff priorities, goals, and projects to ensure timely and accurate project and task completion.
- Prepare / review performance evaluations according to established timelines, and promptly manages performance issues, develops key personnel, provide feedback, and recognize employee contributions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years in accounting with at least 5 years in management, CPA or MBA highly preferred.
- Advanced Excel Skills.
- Knowledge of Oracle or other accounting systems.
- Knowledge of GAAP and SEC Reporting.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to lead a team that works remote.
This is a remote role that reports to our Santa Clarita, CA office.

- Base Salary Range : $86,200.00-116,400.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired.
Final base pay is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
