Position : Principal Plasma Engineer
Location : San Jose, Austin, or Phoenix (USA)
Reporting To : Head of US CoE
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of RF plasma systems (e.g., PECVD, ALD, plasma etching) for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Drive advancements in plasma generation, coupling, and control systems to enhance process efficiency and yield.
- Collaborate closely with hardware, product, and process engineering teams for seamless integration of plasma technologies.
- Manage the development and validation of plasma processes and components from concept through mass production.
- Oversee strategic RF plasma projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest plasma technology trends to drive continuous innovation.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical growth and innovation.
Qualifications :
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Plasma Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in RF plasma engineering, particularly within the semiconductor equipment industry.
- Proven experience leading plasma projects from concept to high-volume manufacturing.
Willingness to travel :
25% (Preferred)
