Job Summary
Manufacturing Controls Engineer Summary :
Controls Engineer will be responsible for the controls improvement and support of production assets. Tasks include designing, building, programming, testing, and debugging of Aseptic Filling and Process Lines and material handling systems within the facility.
Manufacturing Controls Engineer Responsibilities :
- Machine support includes but not limited to safety controllers, PLC's, HMI's, robots, motion control, measurement systems, instrumentation, material handling systems, industrial networks, and computer system hardware / software application support for MES and data collection systems.
- Support Change Management Process for the overall implementation, performance, and continuous improvement of company initiatives.
- Work utilizing plant electrical controls standards.
- Scheduling and Managing upgrades, overhauls, and conversions of Aseptic Filling and Process Lines.
- Provides Training in the Operation and Maintenance of Aseptic Filling and Process Lines
- Participates in afterhours support for engineering group on a rotating basis.
Manufacturing Controls Engineer Responsibilities :
- BS Electrical Engineering degree
- 3+ years of relevant Controls Engineer experience in a GMP facility
- Experience with installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting and on-going user supportRockwell and / or Beckhoff Automation PLC and HMITetra Pak and / or Stork Aseptic filling equipment.
Working with Robotics (i.e. Fanuc)Motion control, VFD and safety hardwareVision inspection systems (Cognex, Keyence, etc.
Knowledge of NFPA70,70E,78AutoCAD software experience.
