We are seeking a talented and dedicated Structural Engineer to join our client's team for an exciting bridge rehabilitation project in partnership with the NJ / NY Port Authority.
This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile projects that enhance the safety and functionality of critical transportation infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities : Lead and support structural design and analysis for bridge rehabilitation projects. Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including contractors and government agencies, to ensure project success. Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance during the rehabilitation process.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to project progress and quality control. Requirements : Experience : Minimum of 5+ years in structural engineering with a focus on roadway and bridge construction and rehabilitation projects.
Certifications : ICC Structural Steel Bolting Certification (required) AWS / CWI Welding Certification (preferred) Professional Engineering License (PE) : A plus, but not required.
Skills : Strong understanding of structural design principles, proficiency in engineering software, and excellent communication and project management skills.
