Sourcing Manager on behalf of an impressive manufacturer that is consistently recognized as a market leader. The company is well-established and continues to grow year over year by producing high-quality, innovative products.

The role of Sourcing Manager gives you high visibility throughout the organization as you work closely with colleagues in product development, materials management, engineering, quality, and accounting.   You will be responsible for s ourcing vendors domestically and internationally to secure raw materials, tooling and MRO to support new product development and innovation.   You will conceptualize end-to-end supply chain strategies to manage many touch points including logistics, pricing, delivery schedules, quality of goods and inventory levels using SAP and other purchasing systems to accurately forecast supply demands and ensure on-time delivery.   In this management role you will lead and direct an MRO Buyer and may have the opportunity to expand the team to meet the demands of the business.

Having the ability to take a hands-on approach to managing complex projects and providing timely communication backed by data is critical to success in this position.   This position will give you a mix of task-driven duties as well as the opportunity to suggest process improvement along the way.

Routine responsibilities will require you to :

• Develop and maintain global relationships with sourcing partners, vendors, suppliers
• Negotiate win-win supplier / vendor agreements to maximize quality and quantity
• Contribute to product development regarding supplier sourcing partnerships
• Leverage spend data to identify strategic sourcing opportunities and implement demand planning processes
• Participate in the research, development, and design of long-range strategic objectives for future operational improvements
• Develop and implement systems that measure, track, and analyze supplier performance and compliance to negotiated terms and conditions
• Guide and review relationships of Buyer / Planners with existing suppliers
• Manage RFQ process with new suppliers
• Some travel may be required
