Job Summary : The IT Project Manager plans, organizes and implements projects. The IT Project Manager supports alignment of the company’s digital transformation to identify opportunities that will help enable future company growth initiatives.
The main duties of this role include coordinating roll-outs, delegating tasks to the necessary employees, presenting on projects progress and results and ensuring that projects are successful with no disruption to the business.
This role supports the business for establishing, monitoring and enhancing automated processes, ensuring the efficiency of the business.
This is a cross-functional support role and lives within the IT organization.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Job Requirements :
- Collaborates cross functionally to support simplification of complex solutions and long-term direction, plus standardization across the entire organization with focus on ERP, CPQ, eCommerce, MRP, IoT, and other key business drivers
- Drive continuous improvement by partnering with stakeholders implementing new business system solutions, service-related processes, and support future-growth initiatives
- Establishes project goals and maintains a process for managing scope, tracking performance and reporting outcomes of projects;
following through to ensure projects are completed as designed
- Organizes meetings to discuss project goals and progress
- Responsible for creating, scheduling and completing test plans, (CRPs)
- Support implementation of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions between business partners
- Provide leadership and tactical expertise in the implementation and maintenance of company’s business systems to drive operational efficiencies and ensuring that business and regulatory requirements are met
- Support daily operations for related business systems and processes
- All other duties as assigned
Skills / Experience Required :
- Minimum 4 years relevant work experience in manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives and implementing system solutions or processes
- Advanced technical skills and in-depth knowledge of different operations systems
- Project Management and leadership skills
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills is required
- Regarded as technical expert with experience in new strategy implementation, Order Fulfillment, and / or manufacturing processes are preferred
- Excellent communication skills with ability to speak within all levels of the organization
- Strong understanding of CRM, CPQ, PLM, IoT, and ERP systems (Infor, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
- Strong business acumen with general knowledge and understanding of Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain business process
- Working knowledge of EDI transactions and design is preferred
Education Requirements :
- BS / BA degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Mathematics is required
- Accredited Project Management, Operational Excellence, or related certifications a plus
