Title : Accounting Assistant Location : 77027 Duration : Contract to Hire Schedule : M-F in office - 10am-3pm (part time) Focus includes : -Provide support to the Accounting Department -Perform basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry into QuickBooks, and compile / manage reports -Handle communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person -Process transactions, issue checks, and update budgets and ledgers -Prepare financial and management reports (A / R Aging, cash-flow, loan modification tracking, loan payoff statements, borrower account statements) -Assist with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.
