GENERAL SUMMARY : The Shift Administrator functions in a management position 24 hours / 7 days per week as a supervisor for staff and patient care as well as administrative support and resource person for a designated shift.
The primary responsibility is to Department of Nursing Operations to support Hospital Operations during assigned shifts.
They coordinate placement of all patients from the admit process and all transfers from unit to unit on all units throughout the hospital.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSURE : Education : Registered NurseBS / BSN preferredLicensure : State of Michigan licensureTraining and Experience : Previous proven experience and expertise in clinical area.
Previous proven experience and experience in management, either first line or shift supervision work.Computer experienced required.
