V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Network Lead for our premier client in Auburn Hills, Michigan .

Education and Experience

• Experience : Minimum of 10 years of experience in network management, with a proven track record in overseeing complex network infrastructures, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry.
• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant network certifications (such as CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable.
• Technical Expertise : Strong understanding of network infrastructure, including LAN / WAN, VPNs, wireless technology, network security, and cloud services.
• Leadership Skills : Extensive experience in leading and developing a technical team, with strong interpersonal and management skills.
• Strategic Thinking : Ability to align network strategies with business goals and adapt to evolving technological and business landscapes.
• Problem-Solving Skills : Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, especially in troubleshooting network issues.
• Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with various stakeholders.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

Job Responsibilities :

• Network Strategy and Development : Develop and implement a comprehensive network strategy that supports the organization's business objectives and technology roadmap.
• Network Infrastructure Management : Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of network infrastructure, including hardware, software, and other related systems.
• Security and Compliance : Ensure network security protocols are in place, updated, and compliant with industry standards, including proactive measures to prevent network breaches.
• Project Management : Lead network-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Team Leadership and Development : Manage and develop a team of network professionals, fostering a collaborative and performance-oriented environment.
• Vendor Management : Liaise with vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring effective service delivery.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement : Stay abreast of emerging network technologies and trends, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.
