OBSUMMARY
The Occupational Therapist providesoccupational therapy to patients who require restoration ofphysical and mental functioning in order to gain independence inselfcare and other activities.
May supervise Certified OccupationalTherapy Assistants and Aides. QUALIFICATIONS Certificate or degreefrom an accredited occupational therapy school.
Licensed by thestate in which the Occupational Therapist resides or practices ifstate requires and has received certification from the NationalBoard for Certification in Occupational Therapy Inc.(NBCOT).
QUALIFICATIONS
Certificate or degree from an accredited occupational therapyschool. Preferably two years of clinical experience (ifapplicable).
Licensed by the state in which the OccupationalTherapist resides or practices if state requires and has receivedcertification from the National Board for Certification inOccupational Therapy Inc.(NBCOT).
