Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced SQL / BI Developer with a strong background in database management, data integration, and analytical modeling to join our team.
The role will focus on leveraging Microsoft technologies like SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and Power BI. The ideal candidate must have certifications in these technologies and be willing to travel to our NYC office as required.
This role is critical for the NYPD project, ensuring that data solutions are optimized and secure.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures , and scripts for database management.
- Design, build, and deploy SSIS packages for data integration and ETL processes.
- Create and manage reports using Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI .
- Design and implement Analysis Services models and data cubes using DAX and MDX .
- Develop, optimize, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Work with Azure Services for cloud-based data solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence needs.
- Maintain the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Microsoft SQL Server Certification : Advanced experience with SQL programming, stored procedures, and database management.
- Microsoft SSIS Certification : Proficiency in SQL Server Integration Services for data integration tasks.
- Microsoft Power BI Certification : Experience with creating reports and interactive dashboards using Power BI.
- Microsoft SSRS Certification : Expertise in developing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services.
- SSAS / DAX / MDX : Experience in developing data cubes and advanced analytics with DAX and MDX .
- Azure Services Certification : Familiarity with cloud-based services and deployment of solutions on Azure .
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills .
Certification Requirements :
The candidate must hold one or more of the following certifications (or equivalent) :
- Microsoft Certified : Azure Data Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Certified : Azure Database Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified : Power BI Data Analyst Associate
- Microsoft Certified : SQL Server Database Developer
