Instructor
Starting Date Fall 2024 Responsibilities Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Physics or Physics Education; or a Ph.D. with 18 graduate semester hours in PhysicsPreferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Physics, Physics Education, or a closely related field
- Experience in teaching physics and physics laboratory courses at the college level. Recent graduates who have teaching experience as teaching assistants are welcome to apply.
- Experience with classroom technology Requirements The Department is seeking a candidate with interest and qualifications to teach undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses in physics, including both calculus-based and algebra-based courses.
Course assignments will include both online and face-to-face courses taught in Wichita Falls, TX, on the MSU campus. The successful candidate will be willing to work closely with students at a public liberal arts university with a commitment to promoting success for students of all academic backgrounds.
The standard teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester. Standard Requirements
