Job Summary
Volkmann Appliance (Winona MN) is looking for a delivery & installation person to work 35-40 hours per week. As a Delivery team member, you are a key member of our team! You are responsible for delivering and installing household goods to our clients.

This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, energetic, and enjoy helping people. Ideally, you are driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis.
Delivery hours are Monday thru Friday between 8 : 00 am and 4 : 00 pm.
Responsibilities :
- 1 Year delivery driving experience preferred
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routes
- Follow route and schedule
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
- Basic hook up and leveling of appliances.
- Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs.
- Assist with warehousing of appliances.
- Assist with preparation of appliances for the next day's deliveries.
- Other tasks as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications :
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Excellent organizational skills
- Basic mechanical ability
- Heavy lifting is required
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors
Work Hours : Full time (35-40 hours) must be available to work Monday thru Friday 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM, occasional overtime maybe required
