SUMMARY :
The Transportation Coordinator ensures that all daily tasks related to the delivery of product are recorded and documented utilizing various systems and spreadsheets.
The position performs and maintains analysis regarding the on time delivery of loads, customer service, and carrier service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Extract data from various systems to be utilized in reporting.Compile reports for on time delivery, customer service, carrier performance.
- Answer phone calls from sales, carriers, shipping, and production.
- Follow up on late loads and provides adjusted ETA’s, provides update to internal customers.
- Create appointments as needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Required
o High school diploma
o 1 year of work experience
o Strong computer skills, which includes Microsoft Office Suite
