Windom Area Health is seeking a talented Nurse Practitioner / Physicians Assistant Hospitalist to join our dynamic team in Windom, MN.

Location : Windom, MN

Schedule : PRN to include 1 weekend / month 7am-5pm on Saturday / Sunday

Windom Area Health is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of a PRN Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Hospitalist.

This provider will work in collaboration with a care team to provide exceptional patient care within the hospital setting.

Key responsibilities include managing admissions, rounding and discharges, as well as ensuring the utilization of specialists and consultations.

Also will participate in multidisciplinary rounding, coordinate patient care, and provide occasional support in the ER depending on availability.

Must be qualified as a CNP or PA. Inpatient experience is preferred but not required as supervision and training will be provided.

This is a PRN daytime position with typically 10 / hrs per pay period (ever 2 weeks) and 1 weekend per month. Additional weekends optional.

Qualifications :

• Current NP or PA license in the state of Minnesota
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant
• Inpatient experience is preferred but not required as supervision and training will be provided
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
