Overview
A Miami based family who likes to travel are seeking a pair of ROTA nannies for their two children, ages 4 and 6. The schedule will be determined once the team is in place but is likely to be 7am to 8pm live-in with a 24 / 7 mentality when working, however, subject to change based on the family’s needs.
Flexibility is required for the role as the family spends summers in Toronto and travels at various times throughout the year.
This is a structured household and adherence to schedules, timing, and ability to provide consistency is key. The family is looking for the best of the best for their children and want someone long-term who will become a part of their family.

Responsibilities
- All aspects of full-charge childcare
- Meal prep / cooking nutritious meals for the children
- Child-related laundry and cleaning (sanitation level)
- Complete organization of children’s lives and spaces
- Pack / unpack
- Create a consistent environment for children when traveling, including monitor set-up, favorite items and preparing bedroom for optimum sleep
- Sleep training children to adjust to different time zones
- Pro-actively research and engage children in age-appropriate activities
- Lesson planning to enhance children’s education
- Collaborate with co-nanny and parents to ensure everyone is on the same page
- Plan and keep a schedule and log of all child-related activities and needs
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A true team player
- Type A personality with the mindset of having a plan A, plan B and the ability to pivot because you’ve got this attitude
- Proactive and thoughtful
- Dedicated with a true passion for childcare and children’s development
- Ability to constructively and kindly guide children through their feelings and emotions
- Sleep training experience
- Professional, refined, kind, self-starter with a sense of humor
- Ability to read a room and know when to step in and step away
- Experience with creating and executing lesson plans
- Active, fun personality with a hands-on engaging approach
Requirements
- Passport ready and ability to travel domestically and internationally throughout the year
- It’s imperative to be able to happily work collaboratively on a team as well as with the parents
- Tutor or Educator experience is not required but would be a huge plus
- Experience in a similar role
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong swimmer
- Current on vaccinations
- Current CPR certification
- Must have stamina and energy to keep up with two active small children, especially during travel
- Must be able to lift heavy suitcases and navigate through airports and foreign cities comfortably
- Pet friendly - No pets at this time, but there may be in the future
Salary and Benefits
The family is offering a generous salary, relocation, a monthly medical stipend, generous bonuses, and salary increases.
