General Summary of Duties : Responsible for providing beverages to guests while maintaining exceptional guest service. Must be minimally 21 years old.
Example of Duties (includes but is not limited to the following) :
- Give prompt, pleasant, courteous and efficient service.
- Utilize alcohol awareness training at all times while acknowledging all guests with a prompt and friendly greeting
- Anticipate all guest’s needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.
- Verify legal drinking age of guests.
- Complete all side work duties and ensure work area is prepared for succeeding shift.
- Maintain cleanliness behind bar.
- Offer a unique service while sustaining a level of professionalism that encourages guests to return.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Perform all other tasks that may be assigned in the future.
Qualifications : High school diploma / GED preferred. Prior bartending experience required.
Certificate / License : Level 3 Occupational Illinois Gaming Board License; Illinois Alcohol Awareness Certification required;
Bartender’s certification preferred.
