Secretary/Technician, Full-time MICU 7A-7P

Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Secretary / Technician for the Medical ICU at Morristown Medical Center to work 7A-7 : 30P, including every other weekend.

Essential Function / Responsibilities :

• Answering phones and call bells
• Organizing the medical record
• Greeting visitors and physicians
• Organizing the unit with forms and office supplies
• Assisting physicians and staff with electronic order entry
• Assisting nursing personnel in patient care activities
• All other duties as assigned

Minimum Education :

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Graduate of a Nursing Assistant program preferred

Minimum Experience :

• Previous Unit Associate / Nursing Assistant experience in a hospital or medical office preferred
• Proficiency with computers
• Excellent customer satisfaction and communication skills

License / Certification :

CNA preferred
