Strong candidates will bring a full range of knowledge (including but not limited to) general Handyman skills, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry walling, landscaping, and HVAC.
The Handyman personnel will perform tasks assigned by the Handyman coordinator and authorized by the company. This position will be responsible for the timely and professional completion of tasks to the standards of the Real Property Management organization.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Application and knowledge of general Handyman work and repairs
- Perform Move in / Move out / Periodic Inspections
- Perform and provide exceptional quality work and services
- Schedule, communicate, perform, and invoice periodic Inspections
- Manage all incoming work orders including scheduling, performing, and invoicing
- Maintain the established customer service standards for both owners and residents
- Promptly respond, pursue, and resolve issues
- Manage operation of company Handyman tools
- Assist answering service with after-hours emergency Handyman issues
- Negotiate with outside vendors on large projects
KEY ATTRIBUTES
- Knowledge and experience with AppFolio
- Must have excellent technical skills

- Detail conscious and Sense of urgency
- Excellent telephone manner and technique
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Handyman management or suitable experience in residential repairs
- Own tools necessary for basic Handyman functions
- Ability to prepare, write, and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and staff
- Local area knowledge
- After-hours calls and site visits as necessary
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of the Internet and email
Compensation : $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
