Competitive Wages : The starting wage is $16.50 / hour. For internal candidates who are already making $16.50 or more, you'll receive a raise of 3-5%.

All wages are paid biweekly.

Front-of-House Supervisor Job Duties and Expectations

You will support the managers in Front of House operations. Your primary responsibility is to ensure FOH new hires are being trained thoroughly and efficiently, using all the training guides and passports, and lead the 90-day check-in program for FOH.

You will assist the managers in ensuring the tools and procedures are in place and used by all FOH staff for successful operations, including meeting the Customer Service and Food Quality Standards and Dripos / Menu Management.

You will also provide input on staffing, staff performance, and scheduling, and work closely with the Supervisor and Management team to ensure store cleanliness through regularly scheduled deep cleaning tasks.

Unless excused, you'll need to come to all the all-staff, team, and manager meetings. You'll also use tools like Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Docs to keep yourself organized, on track, and connected.

Front-of-House Supervisor Requirements

• 1+ years of shift leadership experience in the food / beverage industry.
• Able to be fully Front of House and Shift Leader trained within 3 months of placement, if not already.
• Able to be fully Cook trained within 6 months of placement, if not already.
• Able to direct, develop, and motivate employees.
• Able to plan, organize, work proactively, and set priorities.
• Demonstrates a high regard and ability to prioritize, plan and self-manage time.
• Demonstrates strong commitment to customer service and writing a great final chapter in all interactions.
• Exercises initiative, good judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations that require quick action.
• English language proficiency is required for this position.
• Must be 18+ to apply.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods. To bend, crouch, and lift up to 20-50 lbs. To use ovens, pizza cutters, and other equipment of the business.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to provide adequate identification documentation at Orientation and / or Day One.

Front-of-House Supervisor Scheduling

This position is 35-40 hours per week : about 30-35 hours in operations / on-shift, and about 5-10 hours on administrative tasks and meetings.

Ian's Pizza Downtown (146 E Juneau Ave) is open Sunday-Thursday from 11am-9pm and Friday-Saturday from 11am-12am. Opening shifts typically start 1-2 hours before opening, and closing shifts typically end 1-2 hours after closing.

We expect the Supervisor to be available for at least 2 weekend closing shifts per month, as well as other high-demand shifts such as evenings, weekends, and holidays.

You will also work with the leadership team to be available for emergencies and help find coverage or cover shifts as needed.
